Exciting opportunity for a talented Engineering Manager to join a rapidly growing organisation with a global customer base, in a R&D focused role, where you’ll oversee highly technical rail product developments.

We are seeking an ambitious Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and R&D effort in an international, dynamic company, who are offering long-term career prospects.

In this role, you will be having overall responsibility for the technical and commercial objectives of product development for the rail industry. By providing a ‘whole system’ approach to all aspects of development, including initial capture, specifications, design and testing through to production and quality assurance. You’ll be managing a multi-disciplinary engineering team, overseeing their design works, processes and ensuring all designs are fit for purpose and H&S complied.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the Rail industry and experience in managing a diverse range of products.

THE PERSON:
*Electronics/Firmware/Software/Embedded Systems Engineering Background
*Experience in the Rail industry
*Management level experience
*Strong H&S knowledge
*Experience overseeing Product Development processes
